Woman hurt after breaking up XL bully fight in Holt

Woman sustains serious injuries intervening in Holt dog fight. Stay updated on the incident and community responses

A woman in her twenties is currently hospitalized with serious injuries following her intervention in a dog altercation in Holt, Norfolk. The incident occurred on April 9th at 23:45 BST on Pheasant Close.

 

Authorities responded to the scene after receiving reports of the confrontation between an XL Bully and another dog. 

Subsequently, the XL Bully involved in the altercation has been euthanized, while the breed of the second dog remains undetermined as it has been seized for further assessment.

 

The injured woman was promptly transported to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for medical treatment, where she continues to receive care. 

Police inquiries into the incident are ongoing, aiming to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the altercation and ensure appropriate measures are taken.
