Interim head coach Twila Kilgore expressed confidence in the continued improvement of the US Women’s National Team following their thrilling victory in the SheBelieves Cup final against Canada.

 

The match, which ended in a dramatic penalty shootout, saw goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher shine with three saves and a crucial penalty goal.

 

Despite Canada taking an early lead through Adriana Leon, US forward Sophia Smith turned the tide with two goals, including a late go-ahead goal assisted by Trinity Rodman.
