'Dead Body' Found on
Thai Beach Turns Out to Be Ultra-Realistic £470 Sex Doll
Bang Saen, Thailand –
Beachgoers in Chonburi province were left horrified after discovering what
appeared to be a naked corpse washed ashore on August 18. Fearing the worst,
witnesses contacted the police, believing they had stumbled upon a tragic death
on the popular Bang Saen beach, about 100 kilometers east of Bangkok.
Authorities and
paramedics quickly responded to the scene, bracing themselves for a grim
situation. Upon arrival, however, they made a bizarre discovery. The 'body'
that had alarmed the public was not human at all but rather an ultra-realistic
sex doll.
The doll, reportedly a
Japanese model known as an 'AV Idol,' is valued at approximately THB 20,000 (around
£470). Images of the scene show the doll partially submerged with a naked leg
visible, initially making it appear like a real woman lying lifeless on the
shore. Only upon closer inspection did officers realize that what they had
initially assumed was a tragic case was, in fact, a discarded sex toy.
Despite the doll
missing its head, it had been mistaken for a human due to its life-like
appearance. Officials believe it may have been dumped in a nearby river before
drifting out to sea and eventually washing up on Bang Saen beach.
A spokesperson from the
Bang Saen district police recounted the incident, explaining, “From a distance,
it looked like a small, beautiful woman with a bare bottom. But when officers
approached, they discovered it was an AV doll.” The spokesperson added that the
doll has been removed from the beach to avoid frightening tourists.
The doll is currently
being held at the local police station, and the authorities have stated that if
the owner wishes to reclaim it, they are welcome to do so.
This unusual incident
has sparked amusement among locals and tourists alike, while authorities remain
baffled by how such an item ended up on the shores of Bang Saen. In the
meantime, beachgoers can rest assured that no crime scene awaits them—just a
very expensive, misplaced doll.
